Introduction
A species in the genus Rhopophilus, currently placed in the family Paradoxornithidae as a close relative of parrotbills. Previously classified in Cisticolidae, Timaliidae, or Sylviidae. First described by Robert Swinhoe in 1868.
Distribution & Habitat
Found in northern China and North Korea. Formerly occurred in South Korea.
