White-browed Tit

Introduction
A species in the tit family Paridae, endemic to the mountain forests of central China and Tibet. It nests on the ground in rock crevices or old rodent burrows.
Description
13.5–14 cm long, weighing 10–12 g. Plumage pattern resembles the mountain chickadee but differs in having rusty brown breast and cheeks instead of white. It features a longer and more sharply defined white eyebrow, and the back is a richer brown rather than greyish-brown.
Distribution & Habitat
Endemic to mountain forests of central China and Tibet. Breeds in alpine shrub forests of Berberis, Rhamnus, Rhododendron, and Salix at 3,200–4,235 m altitude. Descends to slightly lower levels in winter, occurring primarily in Picea coniferous forests.
Behavior & Ecology
Nests on the ground in rock crevices or old rodent burrows.
