Introduction

Species of Old World warbler in the family Phylloscopidae, first described in 1999. Found in China and Myanmar, inhabiting temperate forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. Initially placed in the genus Seicercus, later merged into Phylloscopus following a 2018 molecular phylogenetic study.
