Introduction

A songbird species in the genus Phyllergates of the family Cettiidae, formerly placed in the Old World warbler assemblage. It inhabits subtropical or tropical moist lowland and montane forests.

Distribution & Habitat

Native to the Purvanchal Range, southern China, and mountainous areas of Southeast Asia. Natural habitats include subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.
