Introduction
A species of bird in the family Muscicapidae. Native to the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia, found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Tibet and Vietnam. Inhabits subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
Distribution & Habitat
Occurs from the central and western Himalayas (Uttarakhand to Sikkim and West Bengal) east through Northeast India, Myanmar, southern China, and north Thailand to continental Southeast Asia. Non-breeding individuals also occur in coastal Guangdong. Inhabits subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
Behavior & Ecology
Diet consists of small invertebrates and fruits.
