Introduction

Passerine bird in the family Leiothrichidae and the only species in the genus Minla. Found in the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia, inhabiting subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.

Distribution & Habitat

Range includes Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam. Natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
