A bird species in the family Leiothrichidae. Found across Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar, Northeast India, Nepal, and western Yunnan. Inhabits subtropical or tropical moist, montane forests. Forages by moving through dense undergrowth of tropical broad-leaf forest, typically in pairs or in flocks that may include other species.
