Introduction

A species in the family Nectariniidae, occurring in Southeast Asia from Myanmar to Sumatra and Borneo. Inhabits subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. Was formerly placed in the genus Hypogramma until it was realized that the name was preoccupied within Lepidoptera.
