Introduction
Passerine bird in the family Leiothrichidae. Endemic to China, where it inhabits temperate forests. It is threatened by habitat loss. Previously classified in the genus Garrulax, it was moved to Ianthocincla following a molecular phylogenetic study published in 2018.
