  from Bird's Head Peninsula eastward across southern New Guinea to lowlands south of the Huon Gulf; intergrades with jobiensis around Bird's Neck in the west, and on the southeastern peninsula; also Raja Ampat Islands

  D'Entrecasteaux and Louisiade archipelagos (off southeastern New Guinea)
