Description
The bird is black overall with distinctive elongated feathers on the forehead that form a frontal crest, which may curl backwards. The beak and feet are yellow. It has white plumage extending from the vent to the tip of the tail, and displays a prominent white wing patch.
Distribution & Habitat
The species ranges across Nepal and Northeast India, extending through Bangladesh into Southeast Asia.
