柳莺科鸟类。分布于亚洲，从东喜马拉雅山脉至中国东南部和越南南部。栖息于亚热带或热带湿润低地森林及山地森林。曾归入旧大陆柳莺科Sylviidae。

习性与生态
2018年分子系统发育研究发现，原属Seicercus属和近缘属Phylloscopus均非单系群。根据国际动物命名法规，两属合并为Phylloscopus，原亚种名affinis已被Tickell's leaf warbler占用，现用intermedius作为指名亚种名。
