小型鸟类，属于噪鹛科（Leiothrichidae），学名Heterophasia picaoides。曾归入鹛科（Timaliidae），现置于噪鹛科。该属有时被视为单型属。分布于喜马拉雅山脉至东南亚及苏门答腊岛。栖息于常绿林、橡树和松树林、次生林、有大树的灌丛及森林边缘环境。
