Introduction

A species of bird in the thrush family (Zoothera mollissima). Found from the north-western Himalayas to southern China. Inhabits subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland and grassland. Formerly known as the plain-backed thrush until the species was split into the alpine thrush, Sichuan thrush, and Himalayan thrush.
