Introduction

A small passerine bird in the family Sylviidae. Found in China, Laos, Japan, Myanmar, Taiwan, and Vietnam. Inhabits subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. The scientific name commemorates French ornithologist and collector Jules Verreaux.
