Introduction

Songbird in the bulbul family (Pycnonotidae). Found in south-eastern Asia from China and India to Indochina. Two subspecies are recognized: S. c. canifrons in northeastern India and western Myanmar, and S. c. ingrami in eastern Myanmar, southern China and northern Indochina.

Distribution & Habitat

South-eastern Asia from China and India to Indochina. The nominate subspecies S. c. canifrons occurs in northeastern India and western Myanmar, while S. c. ingrami occurs in eastern Myanmar, southern China and northern Indochina.
