Introduction
A passerine bird in the family Leiothrichidae. Endemic to Taiwan. Previously considered conspecific with the white-throated laughingthrush (P. albogularis). Formerly placed in the genus Garrulax, but moved to the resurrected genus Pterorhinus following a molecular phylogenetic study published in 2018.
Distribution & Habitat
Endemic to the island of Taiwan.
