Introduction
Passerine bird in the family Leiothrichidae. Formerly placed in the genus Garrulax, it was moved to the resurrected genus Pterorhinus following a molecular phylogenetic study in 2018. Found in Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, and the Hawaiian Islands (introduced). Inhabits subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
