Introduction
A small passerine bird in the family Sylviidae, though classified in Paradoxornithidae by the IOC. Found in eastern Asia from the Himalayas through Indochina to Hainan. Inhabits subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. Until 2008, the black-headed parrotbill was considered conspecific with this species.
Distribution & Habitat
Occurs in eastern Asia, ranging from the Himalayas westward through Inddochina to Hainan. Inhabits subtropical and tropical moist montane forests throughout this range.
