Introduction
A passerine bird belonging to the sparrow family Passeridae. It is the sole member of its genus, though it has sometimes been classified within Montifringilla. Inhabits rocky areas within mountainous regions of Tibet and central-northern China.
Distribution & Habitat
Endemic to the Tibetan Plateau and adjacent central-northern China. Occupies rocky terrain in high-altitude mountainous environments.
