Introduction

A finch species in the family Fringillidae. It occurs across Afghanistan, Bhutan, China, India, Iran, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Its natural habitat consists of boreal forests.

Distribution & Habitat

Found across central and south Asia from Afghanistan through the Himalayan region to China and Russia. Inhabits boreal forest habitats throughout its range.
