Introduction
A passerine bird in the sparrow family (Passeridae). This species is endemic to the Tibetan Plateau, where it inhabits high-altitude dry shrubland environments. It has sometimes been considered a subspecies of the white-winged snowfinch (Montifringilla nivicola).
Distribution & Habitat
Restricted to the Tibetan Plateau region, specifically occupying high-altitude dry shrubland habitats.
