Introduction
Species of bird in the family Muscicapidae. Previously classified as the only species in the genus Hodgsonius, molecular phylogenetic research published in 2010 revealed it forms part of a clade including the common nightingale, resulting in its transfer to the genus Luscinia. Inhabits temperate forests across Bhutan, China, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
