Distribution & Habitat
Southeast Asia. Five subspecies recognized: I. p. aquilonis in southern China and north-eastern Vietnam; I. p. propinqua from eastern Myanmar to southern China, northern Thailand and northern Indochina; I. p. simulator in eastern Thailand and southern Indochina; I. p. innectens in far southern Vietnam; I. p. myitkyinensis in north-eastern and eastern Myanmar. Inhabits subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
