Introduction

A species of bird in the family Muscicapidae. Native to the Himalayas, central China, Yunnan, and northern Indochina. Inhabits subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. A single sight was recorded from Sigiriya, Sri Lanka in February 1993.

Distribution & Habitat

Breeds in the Himalayas from northern India and Nepal through Bhutan to southern China (Yunnan), and extends into northern Indochina. Inhabits subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. A single vagrant sighting was recorded from Sigiriya, Sri Lanka in February 1993.
