Cettia major
大树莺
Introduction
A montane warbler endemic to South Asia. Inhabits dense undergrowth and grassy slopes at higher elevations. Has a limited distribution and is declining due to habitat loss throughout its range.
Conservation
Evaluated as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List. While the overall population size has not been quantified, numbers are observed to be declining due to habitat destruction. However, the rate of decline is not considered rapid enough to warrant a more threatened category at this time.
