southwestern Venezuela (Táchira, Apure) southward through eastern Colombia (Meta), eastern Ecuador, and eastern Peru, Brazil (south of Amazon eastward to Ceará, Pernambuco and western Bahia; perhaps locally north of the Amazon River on Rio Branco, in Roraima) southward to northern and eastern Bolivia (Pando southeastward to Tarija), Chaco of Paraguay, northern and eastern Argentina (southward to Santiago del Estero, Santa Fe, and Buenos Aires) and western Uruguay (locally along Río Uruguay)
