Introduction

This warbler occurs in forest understories across Southeast and South Asia. It inhabits a range of forested environments from lowland tropical forests to montane woodlands with dense undergrowth. It forages actively among foliage for insects. The species is part of the bush warbler community within its range.

Distribution & Habitat

Distributed across Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam. Inhabits temperate forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests throughout this extensive range.
